Does Ratnos work without internet?
Yes. Ratnos installs like an app and keeps working offline for billing, old-gold exchange and payment recording. The moment your connection returns, everything syncs automatically — there's no manual "sync now" step, and invoice numbering is reconciled without duplicates.
Does Ratnos have its own accounting, or only work with Tally?
Ratnos includes its own built-in double-entry accounting — ledgers, GST/VAT returns, P&L, balance sheet — so you don't need separate accounting software at all. If you already run Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Busy, Ratnos syncs both ways with those too, and the connector architecture is open to add other systems on request.
Is Ratnos compliant with HUID and BIS hallmarking rules?
Yes. HUID is captured at the piece level and validated in real time against a commercial BIS-linked verification service — invalid or unregistered HUIDs are flagged before the sale completes, not discovered later.
Does Ratnos support VAT and AML/DNFBP compliance?
Yes. Ratnos generates VAT-compliant invoices with TRN display, and supports the DNFBP requirements that apply to jewellery dealers — the AED 55,000 cash transaction CDD trigger, DPMSR export formatted for goAML filing, STR flagging, and 5-year record retention.
Can I migrate my existing Tally or Marg data?

Is there a setup fee or AMC?

Every shop's data is isolated at the database level (row-level security per tenant), sensitive fields are encrypted at rest, every write is audit-logged, and the platform undergoes regular security review. Card transaction data is never stored on our servers — only transaction references.
